About Us
John C. Bennett John C. Bennett graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1998 and moved to Atlanta that same year. John was the staff attorney for a medium sized company based in Atlanta for several years and has been doing real estate title searches for over ten years. In 1999, he worked part-time as a research assistant on the Child Improvement Project headed by the Supreme Court of Georgia. He has also worked on the Pro Bono Project of the State Bar of Georgia. During Law School, John worked at the Cook County Public Guardian’s Office and was voted most likely to do Pro Bono work. Outside of the office, he spends a lot of time figuring out new ways to injure himself on his mountain bike. John is currently on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Dekalb, a member of the Georgia Bar, American Bar Association, ALTA, Rotary International, and the Decatur Business Association. Gilbert Taylor Gilbert Taylor specializes in land use matters, including zoning and development. He often represents neighbors who wish to oppose or modify developments planned for their neighborhoods, and neighbors who are impacted by flooding caused by government drainage systems or by new developments. Gilbert is a registered Professional Civil Engineer with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to receiving his law degree, he worked as a design and field engineer and project manager on numerous construction projects. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Atlanta Bar Association. | ||
